The Stainless Steel Hinged Cooking Grid and Charcoal Grate from PK is made from 304 Grade Stainless Steel. Borrowing a quote from Meathead Goldwyn, "Because it contains more nickel and less steel in the alloy, 304 is higher quality and higher cost" (than the more common 430 stainless).
These grates replace the stock steel cooking grid and charcoal grate of the Original PK Grill & Smoker, also incorporating a heavier gauge wire for a much more durable part. Anyone who owns an Original PK Grill & Smoker made after 1997 will want to upgrade to these parts. The stainless steel hinged grid and grate will fit any Original PK produced since 1997.
